Sancerre BLANC Amazing 2023, 75cl.

  ~ 90/100, in VertdeVin Magazine n°28, June 2025 : «The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The initial nose is mineral (limestone, pebbles) and tangy (lemon, lime, green apple), quite restrained, but opens up after aeration and expresses notes of passion fruit, pineapple and white flowers (acacia, apple blossom), as well as a very light touch of green pear. The palate is savory, lively and tangy. The attack expresses notes of green apple, green pear, green plum, as well as a tangy citrus framework (lemon, a bitter touch of grapefruit, lemon zest), gooseberries and a distinct minerality (pebbles, limestone), as well as linden and acacia. The finish is salivating, fresh and quite persistent, with a pleasant roundness of texture and flavor of white peach and apricot and a bitter touch of lime.»

Produced for the first time upon the great 2022 vintage, this exceptional cuvée is a selection of the ripest and finest grapes made under Pierre’s supervision during the harvest. We wanted to pay homage to the outstanding terroir of Sancerre, which allows us to produce exceptional wines with elegance, citrus aromas and minerality.

This name was given to this rare wine after Pierre and Mélanie heard this appellation used dozens of times by their customers, journalists and sommeliers, when they tasted this wine for the very first time.

1200 to 1800 bottles produced and only exist from the very best vintages.
